I’m in a complicated relationship with marketing.

I’ve been the creative, the planner, the agency and the client. It’s a helpful world-view when you consider the many aspects of marketing effectiveness. I’m a passionate marketer, exploring the complex world of marketing effectiveness. I believe in a principled approach: strong strategic foundations, creativity, honest relationships, curiosity (some call it bravery) and distinction.

I head up integrated marketing at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) where I’m responsible for strategy, effectiveness, digital media, social media, web, direct, and our internal studio.
